Andrew & Andrea’s Rainy Winter Wedding

Natte Valleij Wedding Venue – Stellenbosch

As I met with this lovely couple just days before their wedding day, we were all a bit unnerved due to the gloomy weather report for the day. It was definitely going to rain…hard…and the entire day. I assured them that we were going to make it work come rain or storm! During the ceremony the sound of the downpour outside was both disheartening and extremely romantic. And like clockwork the skies opened up after the ceremony and we had a full hour of no rain and perfect light! How amazing. His grace always leaves me in awe.

The couple and most of their beautiful guests are from the UK and they traveled far to witness this beautiful South African destination wedding. I have to commend their guests for being absolutely awesome! Even when a power outage kicked in, or the music on the dancefloor cut out – these guys didn’t stop having fun.

In the end this was the perfect, cosy winter destination wedding.
