Elegant Backyard Wedding on their Farm in De Doorns

When Alecia & Jaco told me their ideas around their wedding on Jaco’s family farm, I knew it was going to be a unique blend of an elegant black tie affair & an intimate home wedding like I’ve never seen before. Alecia’s moodboard included rich colours, velvet fabric, jewel tones, modern and vintage furniture, disco balls in the swimming pool, and LOTS of fairy lights! Alecia’s wedding gown also had unique details and she paired it with bold black accessories that added a modern twist. Alecia even incorporated some vintage furniture into their wedding which she had bought over the years, including a bar!

They decided to forego the traditional sit down dinner at the reception and replace it with delicious canapé style food that kept guests on their toes the entire night. It was a feast for the senses! Couch pockets and little sitting nooks inside their home, made it super cosy and you could see guests having a wonderful time all around. Myself included!
