Hi, I’m Michelle

I’m a hopeless romantic, a storyteller at heart, and the person behind the camera who will probably tear up as you walk down the aisle.

I love people and their stories — especially the messy, funny, beautiful story of how two people found each other. For me, wedding photography isn’t just about pretty photographs. It’s about preserving the little things: the nervous excitement before the ceremony, the way your partner looks at you when you’re not looking, your dad trying not to cry, and the people who make your life what it is.

I’m a born-and-bred Capetonian, but these days you’ll find me living in the beautiful Robertson Wine Valley with my husband, our two kids and our two dogs. Life here is a little slower and a lot more muddy — and I absolutely love it. When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually baking rusks, trying out a new recipe, walking the dogs or attempting to keep a veggie garden alive.

I feel incredibly lucky to call photography my job. There’s something about being invited into such an important and intimate day in someone’s life that never gets old. I get to witness love, laughter, happy tears and all the wonderfully imperfect moments in between — and then turn them into photographs you can keep forever.

If you’re planning a wedding and looking for someone who will genuinely care about your story, I’d love to hear it.

Tell me how you met, how you fell in love, and all the little details that make your story yours.
