Edendale Farm – Bonnievale

Actress, Christia Visser, married her childhood friend and love of her life after many attempts. Each time their wedding was derailed by Covid. They finally got to have their big day and celebrate with 80 of their closest friends and family on her sister’s farm in Bonnievale. I was extremely honoured to photograph his day of celebration! And to have their wedding photos published in Sarie Magazine was the biggest moment of my career as wedding photographer so far.

Lena Lisa created a custom dress for Christia that resembled her love for nature, feathers and freedom. The beautiful bride walked down the isle, barefoot, on Bailey Rushlow’s version of “You’re still the one”.

The reception was cosy with lots of fairy lights, a spit braai and mini magnums as dessert! The couple’s first dance was kicked off with them doing a duet over the karaoke machine of “I believe in a thing called love”.
