Hawksmoor House Wedding Venue – Stellenbosch

Their wedding was the perfect mix of relaxed, laid-back, effortless boho-bliss and elegance! Andrew and Jill planned their luxurious destination wedding all the way from New York. And what an amazing day they had planned for all their friends and family travelling to our beautiful Cape Town! Beneath the tall trees, on Hawksmoor’s lawns, they had the perfect cosy outdoor reception.

What blew me away was how they thought about every single detail and went out of their way to make sure everything was extra special. They even planned the menu, along with the amazing Slippery Spoon Kitchen, to represent both Andrew (being from South Africa) and Jill (being from the US).

They included some SA favourites like “pampoenkoekies”, “Mossbolletjies”, a “braai” station, a Taco stand with Kingklip ceviche, and a pancake station with “melktert” spread. As they danced the night away under the trees, the kitchen would make sure the guests were served some true American Pizza and fries with American mayo as midnight snacks.
